Frittata is an egg dish that can be served for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it could serve warm cold, or even at room temperature, and the test still great and can be filled with just about anything.
Homemade Italian Frittata ingredients |
Ingredients
- 12 eggs
- 150g Mozzarella cheese
- 100g Goat cheese
- 125g Parmesan cheese
- 200 g Pancetta (or bacon)
- 100g Spinach
- 1 green bell pepper
- 2 tbs sundried tomatoes
- 50 g Cherry tomatoed
- 100 g basil
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
How to make homemade Italian Frittata
- Preheat the oven to 175C whisk together eggs add salt, pepper, mozzarella cheese, goat cheese, parmesan cheese, and chopped basil.

- In a 24-inch nonstick frying pan over medium heat fry Pancetta until slightly crispy add the onion then add green bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, and sundried tomatoes, toss everything together then add spinach.

- Pour in the egg mixture and cook for 2 minutes or until the edges start to set.
- Transfer to the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until set and golden. Set it aside and let it cool down before taking off the pan.

I always serve my Frittata dishes with fresh salad and a simple dressing (salt, pepper, lemon, and olive oil) or boil potatoes.
